1. All challenges close at 12 midnight (24:00 hours) Eastern Standard Time on Monday Dec 8th 2008, and will be noted with a "Time's up!" post within the thread. 2. Please use the challenge as a motive to take a new photograph rather than using a photograph that you have taken in the past. 3. Challenges are open to everyone, have fun!! 4. Though not required, commenting on other peoples pictures is encouraged. 5. Only one image per participant so please choose the image carefully. And if you have one not entered don't forget "Cutting Room Floor" thread. 6. Any posts with images taken before the commencement of the challenge will not be entered in the poll. 7. For photos to be eligible they must be taken between the Dec 5th and Dec 8th 2008. 8. Ensure dates and times on your camera are correct. 9. Photos to challenge those modelers. We look forward to seeing many contributors, remember this is to encourage all modelers to take a shot of the subject rather than post a photo taken in the past.

This one doesn't qualify for the contest, as it was taken in September 2006, but I like this place. Restored Union Pacific Depot out in the middle of the Mojave Desert at Kelso, CA.
Holiday Express-Palo to Vinton, IA The crowd of inbound and outbound passengers swarms the former Rock Island Vinton Depot on a cold Saturday Dec. 6th. This is mine, an old NYC station in Robison IL on the Egyptian [Cairo/Danville] line. Tracks are long and it’s been restored and use as a military museum run by the VFW. I’ve wandered how many boys left from there during WW-2. inch
At first I thought more of a Santa Fe style. Quite decent sized building. How large is that community? Boxcab E50
