MARYSVILLE, Calif. - A 54-year-old woman was recovering in the hospital after being hit by a Union Pacific freight train south of Marysville. Deborah Thompson told authorities afterward that she drank a bottle of whiskey before she wandered to the railroad tracks and tried to wave the train to a stop. When asked why, she told Yuba County sheriff's deputies she was just being silly. Instead, the train hit her and knocked her 20 to 30 yards. Thompson suffered head injuries and a fractured thigh bone but was conscious and talking after the accident. ___ Dunno about being silly- stupid, perhaps. She DID get knocked silly......and almost into the next world.
stupid drunk silly people cant stand when they walk aroundf the road and stop traffic and than fall asleep in the middle of the road for an hour a drunk man was walking on the tracks in Kirby Park and than he got hit by a train not too far from the gunlet bridge and they had to make a cut between the 75 and 78 th axel to get the remaining guts and bones and evorything like that it was at night too and a quader was riding her quad wen a train came she flew off her quad and she was in a coma or sumething like that they put her into a emty boxcar until the next crossing
There was a guy who was apparently drunk who passed out on the tracks near my office early this year and got bisected at the waist by a freight. They found both of his halves later. I still get creeped out going by that crossing, thanks to someone who didn't take care of himself properly. Adam

Almost put her to sleep permanently.......if not put her in contention for the Darwin Awards. Oh well, perhaps next time......
