The user submissions are stacking up and here is one of them. If you want to submit one, please hold off for a few days. I have a number of them under consideration. But, I will be interested in seeing it so don't discard your ideas. I just don't want to have 30 of these stacked up. Having said that, here is #8. I am thinking that this one may be recognized and might be answered by morning. Have fun.
Ooo, this is a tough one. It's a terminus, but from the size of the boats and boat terminals, its' not an ocean port. The size of the rail terminal and it's proximity to the waterfront adds to the mystery. Northern Hemisphere, but not North American. This one's gonna take a while, but I'll have to come back to it later. Can't keep the wife waiting...
this is luzern, switzerland. first picture, left bottom corner you see parts of the famous kapellbrücke this beautiful city is just a one-hour drive from home ...
Congratulations sandro schaer. The location is: Lucerne/Luzern, Switzerland I see it shown alternately as Lucerne and Luzern so I am not sure of the proper spelling but the location is correct. Looks like a beautiful place to visit and this was submitted by Stourbridge Lion.
If you had saw the small icon in the second image Charlie posted it actually showed that he had rotated it

Yes I have, back in October 2004. That's when I took the above and several other photographs at the station. Had a great time taking a boat ride over to Alpnachstad, up Pilatus Kulm on the Cog and back down on the tram. I look forward to getting back that way again.
