Oh, okay, one more today for the afternoon shift. No one can complain that we don't offer equal opportunity. No staff members on this one.
aaaand...everyone was too busy this time. heheh. Well, this one is definitely a North American container terminal, but I don't know where yet. Oh, it does appear that the two images are the same, not tighter and wider like in the other contests.
I think I can see then the vehicles are traveleing the "wrong way" in North American terms....Most likely Western European. France?
Oh my god, and I didn't look at the shadows this time either. I feel dumb. I just didn't think they used so many well cars anywhere else. Then again, maybe those are flatcars, although they sure do look like well cars. CP&E, I'm sorry buddy but in France and all of Continental Europe they drive on the right just like we Americans do. But I think you're right about what side they're driving on in the photo (i.e. the other side). And it narrows things down considerably. Especially if those ARE well cars....
Ben... I stand corrected. I thought i had read somehwere that North America was the only continent what the population drove on the right side of the road....whoops. So that does eliminate a lot of potential locations.....hmmm.
I found it. But I'm going to refrain from spoiling it for the rest of you. (Unless I missed the announcement of what the prize is...just kidding.) Hint: They probably ARE well cars. Strangely, I had to look at it twice before I realized I had found it. The way the photo is cropped can be a little deceiving.
And the win goes to Steve F. Perth, Australia A place I would like to visit, and if I ever get to Australia, I'm going there. :shade:
I had a hard time trying to find this one. I started looking in Astralia from the get go and had to pass over the yard at least once. It wasn't until the wider shot was posted that I was able to find it. Thanks Charlie Steve F
Posting the two images the same was my error (by the way). I corrected that as soon as I realized it. Charlie
