Does anyone know the width of some of the Kato Unitrack bridges for N-Scale. I have two tracks running 33mm apart (seems to be a standard for Unitrack). I'd like to have the two tracks pass over some water and the plate-girder bridges look like a good option. However, there is nothing on the Kato web site about dimensions and I'm not sure if two of these will fit side-by-side 33mm apart. Kato also has a double-track plate-girder bridge which would be ideal if the track centers were indeed 33mm. But alas, no info on the Kato site. Of course I could just measure this myself if they were in stock at the hobby stores, but these need to be pre-ordered by my local dealers. Thanks in advance for any info! -Gregg
Gregg The double track plate girder bridges are 33 mm apart as is the Double track truss bridge. The single track plate girder bridge will not fit side by side at a 33 mm spacing. Hope that helps
More Dimensions. Anyone know the distance from the top of the rails to the lowest point under the bridge? In other words, how high would I have to raise the top track to have another track pass under the bridge? Dave.
At a 2 " track top to track top height the bottom of the lowest part of the bridge to the top of the rail passing beneath is 1 and 11/16 of an inch. At least on my layout.
Kato Double Track Truss and Girder Bridge Dimensions I too have been searching for the bridge(s) width dimension (outside to outside) but also need to know if the Kato track is removable/replaceable with, Fleischmann Picolo track and what is the spacing of the two tracks (centerline to centerline) I have a preformed Noch layout that is around 2 and 1/2 inches wide. Thanks, Pete
