Just checking to see what the market is for S scale laser kits. Check out my web site and tell me what you want or would like to see offered in S scale.
    thanks

    Rich,

I see I’ve let this go way too long for a response, sorry. Those are interesting kits, and your 1880's Main street series would be of interest to me personally. But kits seem to be going the way of the typewriter. Since you have the dimensions already in O and HO, would it be hard to cut kits on an as need basis? According to your web page, it doesn’t look like the kits contain a lot of eye candy detail parts, which can be a blessing not having to stock it. I don’t know if those detail parts help sell a kit or not but your prices for the O scale kits are enticing.

    Cheers,
    Greg

Hi Greg; It can be done but na one off is not that easy as wood does not scale down ,so all the parts need to be modified .I don't have any casting Right now but it does help keep the price down.If I did a one it would be the same cost or a little more then O scale.Would need to do about 10 to keep cost down.

    Rich,
What would the result be if you used HO wood for an S scale building? I've seen HO kits modified for S scale layouts with pretty good results. On the other hand actual S sized wood is preferable. Also you mentioned 10 to keep the cost down. Was that a ball park or definite? I'm not sure but rustling up ten orders might be doable.

Would still need to redo the windows and tap and notches as they scale up when you increase the scale. What kit you looking at to start.

    Rich,
Paul's Repair was interesting. I'll float your web page around and see if interest develops. The S narrow guage guys might be interested.

    Rich,
The response has been underwhelming IMHO. I have a friend who sells S scale trains and might be interested in a couple to stock in his store but I haven't heard back from him either. I'd give it a bit longer to see what else comes of the post. S scale modelers are a quirky bunch at times. :D
