GCRX 6776, 2 friends and a power car:

 

Alco 4-8-4

This 4-8-4 is an Alco

 

An ex Army Alco now at the TVRM in Chattanooga TN - 2004

 

These two were spotted at a Martin Marrieta facility just south of Manchester GA. Was unable to obtain permission to get any closer for better shots.

 

Here's an old Alco shot. I believe this unit had been on the Nashville and Eastern and was headed out to someone else.

 

Better yet, would like to see this in SP&S colors!:teeth:

 

Any known heritage on this old girl?

Thanks Kurt. Didn't realize just how many Alcos I have seen until I started posting them. Have just about exhausted my digital shots. Will have to break out the prints and scan some more to post.

 

As promised "sort of". Found a CD yesterday that had some previously scanned pics from my print film days so I'll throw these in until I have more time to search and scan.
