I model the same railroad, only later, and after they got the new flashy image.

 

Would the reporting marks for an undec be: UNDX?
Ya know, someone should grab that idea and run with it including Demi-Data.

 

No, it could be UNDC

"X" is reserved for or more common to privately owned equipment or leased equipment like coal cars and locos.

Thanks Greyone. Have some ideas about LIRR GP-38-2's in grey/orange, to match the LIRR C420's from previous Atlas run.
But doing anything like that is a long way off.

VERY NICE! Guys. I'm sorry I missed these during my hiatus from model trains.

 

I don't have the photos, but I do have two SD70M's with flat radiators, one in Daylight colors and the other in Black Widows colors. I am still thinking about a Tiger stripe version.

 

None of these are on models, but they sure would look good. The BNSF Heritage Roads.

Just so inspired by these! I'm just starting to set up my freelance WP&J road (West Patience & Jubilation). Came here to pick my road colors. It's an embarrassment of riches. The browns & oranges, the blacks & greens, all of it, beautiful paint guys! It's going to be a hard decision. Wanted to let you know how much these photos are appreciated. I hope to do half as well.
