Although I am not a member, I did try contacting that fellow shown as being in charge. A couple of times. but he never responded.

    I've got Bob's pass in 1997.
Maybe if we poke enough, there will be a list with pass exchangers. Are there any problems with a public address list??? I've no problems, my addy is at my website.
Here in Germany you can look and search in a phone book if you have the name.

    Wolfgang-

Here in the USA, we also have several methods of cost free address searching. Names, snail mail addresses, e-mails. Very little is not public these days. (Privacy? Not much left! :eek:mg: )

We could also list web sites for contacting other traders. Such as I did for Bob.

    Hi folks,

I've been exchanging MRR passes for years and have a large collection from around the world. Lot's of fun, plus I've become friendly with many of those who exchanged with me. I have 'dabbled' in Epasses, but not to very much success. Go to my Swamp Valley Rail Road site: http://tinyurl.com/2za774 enjoy my site, then click on PASS EXCHANGE and send me an Email and I will forward my pass to you.

    Hi Pete!

    Welcome to TrainBoard!

Did my pass reach you safely, before your recent move? Hope so?

Note that we also have a model RR narrow gauge Forum. So if you ever feel the urge to do so, On30 talk is available...

    Hi Ken,

Yes I did receive your pass and it's in my Pass Album with all the others. Thanks so much and I hope you enjoyed mine in return.

I've had two requests from Trainboard, that's how I found out about the site. I will visit the narrow gauge forum as I get more time. Still unpacking from my move, but settling in quickly.

So far I have received 3 rail passes. besides the pass which by the way are very diverse and exceptional, is the letters that accompanied each pass. The exchange of rail pass helps to add a personal side to the modeling experience which one can not get over the internet.

Thank you gentlemen for sharing, and for the rest of you out there, it is not a lot of work to create one and mail it on, I think you will find it adds another dimension to the "Worlds Greatest Hobby".

I agree. The letters have been interesting. Some have developed a fancy stationery/letterhead. Those background stories of their endeavors are fascinating. Plus other enclosures as well.

What is really nice, is the personal contact of receiving a hard copy in the snail mail.

    Thank you for the cards

Got your cards Monday!! :teeth: That gives me ideas. I am a BNSF fan and I like to keep up with the fallen flags that have made up the current company. I will go to town on the drawing board now and send you something as soon as I can. But you will have to be patient with me.

    Pass card ready to trade

OK the experts have proofed and I went to print. The first two cards went out side the USA neat. Now for the rest of you send me your info and I will send you a card. I am working on a cover letter ever so slow in my free time so any one who doesn't get a letter with your card sorry. I will owe you the letter yet. Let the trading begin again.
