A bridge over the other Colorado River on the old SP Macaroni line in Wharton, Texas. The KCS plans to rebuild it soon by raising it a few feet and replacing some of the piers. I think the small span will also be replaced. Should have trains running over it again before summer.
They put in a new bridge to the right on Steve's photo. Here is a shot of the same bridge looking from the other way. The train is going by to cross on the new bridge which would be on the left in this image. Steve's photo was probably taken from a passing train.
