70-Ton Hopper, PRR 666573 Built in 1960 by the Pennsylvania Railroad. Arrived Danbury Railway Museum, December 10, 1997.
I really like the paintscheme on this one: A Union Equity hopper passing a Union Equity elevator: Two different KCS hoppers: And it's not really a hopper, but an airslide is close:
Here's an old 1911 vintage 20 foot Great Northern hopper used by the Yreka Western RR for ballast: Sorry that the ends got cut off .. my back was against our steam locomotive and I couldn't get it all in.
Found in Denver a couple months ago. Looks like SSW 23540 And another DRGW car from the same day. Pardon the poles, could NOT get a better shot. Caught on way home. Stopped at Pecos street grade crossing. Entering DRGW North Yard.
Here's a hopper being used as an idler for a KCS special load.... between KCS 4002 and the 200 Ton depressed center flat. And the rear idler dropped across the road.
Earlier this month I saw a BNSF grain train at Morris, MN and the first 7 cars had the new logo. I didn't have my camera...
