There is a lot of it out there. The trick is finding it. I saw this at the Buc-ee's in Leeds Alabama the other day. I seriously thought about it but my wallet steered me away. 24x36 is the size Here's another I saw a few years ago that I passed on. The original price was ouch but the clearance price was just right. I thought about it but never got it. Will post some more later in the week that I do have in my collection. What about you, what RR art do you have?
I have these prints and a few others framed and hung, but unfortunately much of my stuff is stored away because I have no wall space to hang it.
At one time I had a couple of (MILW) these on my walls. Speaking of the MILW, there is a great railroad artist here in the Pacific NW named Gary Pember. A former MILW employee but he does more than that one railroad.
Some of you all may recognize this one from a Leaning Tree Christmas card back in the late 80's/early 90's I've been fortunate enough to know the artist for nearly 40 years and have several prints from him all signed.
A few post back, I posted a print from Robert West of some BNSF H1 units and noted it was my 2nd favorite work by him Why 2nd, because my favorite is an actual original painting (not a print) from him. He named it Desert Storm II. He started it in 2000 and finished and presented it to me in the spring of 2001.
I need to get back up on the Pass again. Been too long. There are some really neat photo places from Java on up to Summit.
