As always, nice stuff Alan. Really enjoy seeing your layout. That interior temp swing down to 30 inside the train shed seems a little harsh. Hopefully nothing too bad happened.
Crud, my back porch [enclosed, but where my layout is] was 18 yesterday. I wonder how the Unitrack will respond.
THERR RV was near zero the other day. I went out and ran trains just fine this morning. All my Unitrack held up perfect !
So far all I have found is some needed adjustments on a couple of switch points! Unitrak sounds like tough stuff, but just not my cup-o-sake!
Oh she KNOWS that I play with them trains, constantly! She even joins me in"Polishing the Rails" occasionally!
Jewelry and/or cash sometimes work too. The two essential phrases: "Yes, dear." or "I'm sorry." sometimes work, but in tough situations, use both: "Yes dear; I'm sorry."
"Yes dear...you're right...I'm sorry." is my stock reply. She hates it because she can never come back with a retort.
Other than when she says; "Damn right! That's the first thing you've gotten right all day!" (or week, or...)
Yes but it usually takes her a few seconds to figure out what to say. In those few seconds the "fight or flight" kicks in and I turn around and walk away...QUICKLY !
