Nope, just the leaders. Took 4 hours last night to upload this coal train from yesterday, I also have a video of the helpers knuckling in and of the headend power tying back on after picking up the extra MRL units. 5 MRL units added, 9 units in all!
And today we headed for Butte, via Logan, Three Forks and Pipestone Pass. Had a happy accident in Three Forks, discovered a depot and RR museum! Nicely done. And in Butte,
Saw the one depot, now called Front Street Station, which is set up as an event center. Saw a few other things, more today and pics to put up later.
It's a Chinese restaurant, same side of the street, a block further down the main drag. Painted white, with iron railings across the street side.
I came west for MRL, and am getting some, mixed in with a lot of BNSF punkins. And the LM hitting Skyline Trestle just before Mullan Pass tunnel,
At the show in Helena, the only video I took was of the Bozeman Ntrak setup. They bring different modules every year, so that makes it interesting. I got two videos of a Big Boy and an MRL lashup, enjoy! Overall a great show! And I was able to only buy a couple of things, and did a swap for some N diesels to sell off, which should be fun. Here's the stuff I got for the NP&BH, A few reefers, the "Burp-oh" is hilarious, And from MRLDave, with a bit of horse trading, All in all a good time! I did catch up with some more MRL, probably the last time I will get to see a lot of them in action.
Wow. That Burp-Oh Beer reefer goes way back! I had one. Sometimes wish I had kept it, just for laughs.
Thanks for posting the videos.......I took nothing. Mind if I pirate them for the club site? And the boxcars were all different numbers from what I have.......what are the odds of that!
Boxcab - The laughs is why I picked it up, it is funny!! Dave - Yup, link them over. Also, someone noted that it is a Challenger pulling the coal, not a Big Boy! So, I changed the title a bit. The boxcars being different numbers is great! Happy accidents!
