Don't know what to do with those DEL PRADO, RD -Readers Digest- want be Scale Locomotives and those a1g Locomotives? Here is an idea! > https://www.railpictures.net/photo/753437/ Tom
Looks like a giant Pick-U-Part lot for diesel locomotives. "Moline, Moline, Moline, Moline, don't take my loc'motive 'way from me."
"Come on down! We got Locomotives, B-units, even Slugs! Late models, early models, any model you want! We're stackin' 'em deep and selling 'em cheap! Financing available. All sales final. No warranty expressed or implied."
If I had a big storage yard like that on my layout, it could be filled with the dead IM locomotives, and even be as full as that yard, perhaps more full......
Doug, Well, then one can do it with those crazy RD- READERS DIGEST and those Del Prado or even those Early 1960'S? ARNOLD, Oversized LIMA and those Oversized BACHMANN LOCOMOTIVES! Which might be a better solution for you. Tom
That Metra E unit gives me MANY ideas. I've seen their F unit, MP-15, and SW- something in work train service here. See their trains on Rock Island, Heritage Corridor, and Southwest Service constantly. OOOOOHH, this is NOT GOOD !!!
Here is two FTs operated by the Verde Canyon RR in Cottonwood, AZ (30 minutes from Sedona) with an eagle!: https://images.fineartamerica.com/i...ritage-verde-canyon-railroad-teresa-zieba.jpg
Looks like there are spark arrestors or something like that on the diesels, but what exactly IS that on the roof of the car trailing the two diesels?
