Hi, All. I have begun work on part 2 of my trailer park module. The components of this part are things I made 20+ years ago. Lally's Fruit & Produce is one of the first things I ever attempted in any scale. The greenhouse is from an article in ZTrak many years ago. It is a blister pack from lip balm. The chicken coop is a really old Artitec resin kit. It is lit with a blue LED light. The apiary is a MBZ kit (I like his quirky offerings) along with some wagon kits. The owners of Lally's will also have a trailer home. In keeping with the theme I started in Part 1, this module will continue my "vision" of a laid-back, easy going, slow-paced mobile home park. I have begun landscaping. There may be another camper on the hill. My approach to modeling is kind of unorthodox. I approach it as a painting or drawing and work in small sections at a time. This is why I take forever to finish them. I try to be as accurate to what I actually see around me.

Correction. It is Ladd's Fruit & Produce. Lally's is a hamburger place.

Nothing wrong with a sequel. I’ll get a box of popcorn and some Juju beans and watch this one unfold….(y)

Oh, and we can all thank “your” Ladd’s Produce for the fact that we have vegetable stand display boxes being manufactured by ALL SCALE MINIATURES. When I was visiting them, one day, I asked them if they could possibly produce vegetable stand boxes in light of seeing them on one of your posts here. They obliged based on my request.

Hah!! That was you? I bought a bunch of their stuff. In fact, Part 1 now has ASM mailboxes and bbq grilles. I cannot take credit for these fruit stands. They are from a Preiser offering from the 90's. I haven't seen it around since I bought this one. You know what Robert says...I did detail the stands using various flower seeds and acrylic paints. The "Rebel Route" boxcar was the first MTL train item I ever purchased. This project has given me an opportunity to utilize some things I've done over the years into a unifying, believable scene. This whole thing started when my friends Billy and Sue retired to a mobile home park in Florida. I'm enjoying the build and the direction it is taking. Thanks for your work on behalf of all us Zed Heads. It is appreciated in this corner. Jim

It’s nice to see those incorporated into a model. Do you have a layout plan in future? I like direction you are going :D

Thanks, Joe. I don't have a specific layout in mind. I am thinking more of a 4 foot shelf layout with either a PCC or local freight in the foreground doing some switching. Jim
