Your welcome, of course there are many ways to get the files onto your PC. That's kind of up to the person!

That part’s easy. The problem is the forums. Every forum seems to have its own method - some want you to upload to photobucket.com as a third-party site. Others requires using imgur.com, etc. A few actually support direct hosting. It’s always the “house rules” that confound me.

I have found that pictures stored in my Windows 7 & 10 would transfer easily. Only those computers both were destroyed by 10. So now I'll have to see how the new unit with Windows 11 works.

Still haven't fingered it out. Some how the camera has to upload to the cloud file. Then down load to the computer files. From the computer I have linked to TrainBoard. But getting from camera or smart a phone doesn't work with this computer with Windows 10Plus.

No reply as far as I can understand. Utub dosn't work with Windows 10 Plus. I will try e-mailing a picture when I get one. That seems to make the most "MSN" sense. It used to be a simple as plugging in a wire.

The easiest way that I have found is to just email the photos to myself from my phone. Been doing that for years. With my Nikon Zfc, the camera automatically sends them to the correct folder on my computer as they are taken.

I’m the guy who started this thread, and I’ve settled on this as far and away the easiest way (and this is easy):

I just use my phone directly. I take photos using this phone. I compose my posts on this phone, I attach photos from this phone. I simply:

    1. Click the “Upload a File” button below
    2. Select “from photo library”
    3. Pick the photo
    4. Select thumbnail or full size

    IMG_3407.jpeg

    There you go.

I would like to say Thank You. But, I can't as those steps don't work on my digital cameras or the new Jitterbug Smart 3 with Lively billing. with the first Jitterbug the assistant walked me through uploading to the clouds and then downloading from the cloud to my desk top computer. I can't find anything as simple as you describe.
I used to just plug in my flip phone of cameras to the computers (early Windows 10) and direct transfer.
If possible today I will try connecting to Lively again. But the cameras won't do a close up like you have shown.:eek:o_O
Resent technology is as bizarre as the politics and banking.

It didn't completely work. The email seems to have worked. It says it forwarded to the Pictures File but it also shows two others but not the whole file which I will need to post a picture on here. I believe I will have go to Walmart/Walgreens to have the files transferred to a CD or thumb stick. why did he make it so complex?

I believe I may have got it to work:
    upload_2024-2-27_8-44-34.jpeg

I got a lady at Lively (Jitterbug smart3) that said I needed a Google program and she downloaded it.
This is my engines and cars collection. As you can see it doesn't do well close up to small items.
Thanks a lot guys. Sorry if I disturb anyone.
Now I will have to invest in a better camera. upload_2024-2-27_8-44-34.jpeg

By Jove, I think you've got it! Neat to see your trains, N and HO. I love your C&NW switcher and WC Cow and Calf. (y)

If your better camera could be part of a smartphone or a notepad that you can also browse this forum with, it would be the greatest streamline to your process.

Lighting can also cause similar results.
