Possible EV Charging Station location at gas station. One pump ( is it really a pump? ) should be enough for now I have some kind of white maintenance small building somewhere that will be the electrical box. I'll set it in the grass area I guess! Yep, blue painters tape holding it in place for now. Man I wish I had the talent to put tiny Tesla emblems on some cars, but I don't, or the pump! Just maybe a bigger sign I can do?
I need to replace the the Tech II that I am using for AC power for my Just Plug lights to something like the NCE PowerCab or Just Plug power supply? Any ideas and I would like for it to have a safety circuit breaker incase it over heats, like the Tech II has. More cleaning of the room and I finally got to remove the chest that was too high for my layout base. When I added the L I could no longer see the TV correctly. It's lower then most people would want, except me Should work out way better, me hopes! The cleaning continues. Hint: Don't look under the bed Actually it's not that bad, things are in small totes, organized pretty much, etc...
Any videos on how to use N Scale flex track to replace my many pieces of Atlas track to cut down on joiners and just have it run smoother I am guessing? I figure less connections points would be a good thing, as well as just more continues track can't hurt. If I can figure out how to do it properly?
I did that decades ago on a layout. If it's not ballasted, it's pretty straight forward. Use a Sharpie marker to outline the track. Then, just slip a putty knife under the old track and lift it up. Lay the new flextrack down in the same spot. If it is ballasted, well, lots more effort. Again use the Sharpie to mark. Now you will have to soak the ballast and then run the putty knife under the whole mess. The good thing about this is it is easier to add easements in on your curves at this point.
Nothing but track and cork and NO glue only nails! Me thinks I have it figured out, me thinks? Now whether or not I can actually accomplish it, I'll let you know when/if it happens.
If your sectional track is on cork track bed just pop off the sectional track and lay the flex track down the center of the cork track bed. If the sectional track is ballasted...it will depend on what you glued the ballast down with as far as getting it off of there. .
No ballast, NO glue at all on the layout, yet Cork roadbed and track on with nail that are easy to take out!
Well I replaced 5 pieces of Atlas 11" radius track with one piece of flex track and the amazing thing is, it's working so far Not nearly as hard as I thought it would be, unless it stops working for some strange reason. I have so much sectional Atlas N Scale track as well as about and 6 more 30" flex track pieces I have accumulated over the years. Glad I figured out how to use the flex track when I can. It should help a lot I hope? We will see!
The important part is to always be sure the rails stay in gauge. And when you trim the excess length, take the time to gently file the rail back into profile. The cutting always leaves a burr or two that gets in the way of applying the rail joiners. Take your time and look closely at the cut ends.
Just running some trains today! When I was first making my plan's, well there were no plans, I think @BoxcabE50 is the one that told me to put 2 switches/turn outs on each side so they could use the inner and outer loop. I couldn't swear by it though. Maybe it was someone else? Makes for a lot of fun, whoever it was Oh yeah I forgot to Mute the volume on the TV too
Ahhhhhhhhhh...running trains is the best !! I do the same now. Hours of trains running while just sitting at the workbench listening to some music and of course ....watching them trains. There are days I feel like switching in the yard...but that is a whole nuther animal...LOL

In2tech, one thing I noticed that might be a good thing is how these lights plug into a hub. they have those little spring connectors (don't know the correct name) and that plugs to the hub. Way I see that is you could probably plug all four into the same spring connectors and only use up one plug on a hub
Yep, I almost ordered another Hub and the Blue Hub, forget it name, then I noticed they are just like the street lights Saved me a ton of extra money and reason I bought them got Free shipping from the Fruit online company Have no idea why, but I'll take it! Should be able to connect some street lights also to one connector. I have before! Now the flat LED's no, but I don't use them often yet?
So I have 3 Atlas U25B's, and one is making a noise ONLY going in reverse. Any ideas off the top of your head? I also might sell all 3, haven't decided yet!
