Yup, it's snowing and raining (at the same time), and it's almost June in this image at CP2030 on the BNSF KO Sub in Minot.
BNSF 132 spent some time in the Peace Garden State last summer. Here she is, waddling along at 10 MPH on the BNSF Grenora Sub, northwest of Stanley, ND:
From last Thursday, roaming around Tacoma and saw this NB with a sweet EMD set! Then, as luck would have it, caught it in Auburn 3 hours later! Sounded awesome!
Saweet! I bet those big EMD's sounded good with the steel and concrete above forcing the sound back down. Even though muffled, those 710's wont be denied that so familiar, if not increasingly rare, EMD chant. Why is it the PNW seems to be the last bastion for older power? I mean F units were galore out there back in the day. I mean, it/was great to see. There must be some astounding shop forces out there.
Sweet EMD set, indeed! Thanks for making me drool all over my keyboard... Now I need a paper towel...
