Hi all, Marklin celebrates 50 years Marklin Z or miniclub, as it was named until a couple years back. For the occasion, a booklet is published. I got my copy recently - it is an overview of Marklin Z history, lots of pictures, several brief interviews and a couple of nice layouts. It seems to me that Marklin is gradually moving from gimmicky sets for "cute" little layouts and expansive collectors items to (also) catering to the needs of model railroaders - which I think is a good thing. Main focus is German and a bit of Swiss and Austrian trains, hardly anything on US (or Dutch, for that matter) locs and cars. It is only available in the German language, but because of the many pictures of interest even if you don't speak German (or very little, like me). I was wondering, is it available in the US / UK and what do you guys think of it? https://www.maerklin.de/en/products/details/article/07771 Matt
Happy Anniversary Zee. I haven't been a Marklin member for awhile but I always liked their publications and glossy literature. You don't need to read the text to appreciate the quality of their work. Jim
