Happy Weekend Proto Fun everyone. This week, I found yet another switcher to add to my 2022 switcher photos quest. While this Walking Horse & Eastern switcher is now sitting on display in front or the depot in Bridgeport Alabama, I do actually remember seeing it in action back in the early 90's. Looks like it is at least being taken care of.
Cool shot! Bridgeport, AL. Drove up one Memorial Day a few years ago. Came through Stevenson. Both places had historic depots. Played a role in Gen. J. Hooker's "rat line" during the Civil War. Trains were running in both places that day.
From 04/10/2006 on the former N&W at Pulaski, VA, a WC SD-45 leads a leased EMDX SD-45 and NS road unit on a coal train.

While away from home terminal, a friend drove me to Kansas Union Station to shoot the ATSF Bicentennial unit that Class One Model Works had repainted. The engine will deadhead to California soon to its new home.
