There was no time to show the progress with some modules. The first one is a small 22cm long module. I had a small railway building as a starting point: There must be a railwayman and his bicycle: General view. The module is not 100% finished yet:
Pawel, I really like your latest module, simple but very nice! Did you make the semaphores from scratch? Scott
Yes. The upper part is 3D printed. The pole is made using brass tube. The light is attached to the pole using guitar string wire. Everything was hand painted.
The last one is a half oval in the tunnel. Over the tunnel there is steam locomotive depot. There will be 4 trucks: Coal storage added: Experimenting with dirty trucks with grease , oil, water ... Water cranes in preparation: Water tower, building and coal loading facility added:
I Finally got to see some video of these modules from the Altenbeken video Jürgen posted. They are tiny! I seen another set of tiny modules in that video from Wiener Z-Stammtisch group too. They look fun to setup and run!
Next steps in building diorama with steam loco depot. Some details added: General view - all main elements were placed on diorama: In the past we have communists propaganda everywhere - "We build the future of our socialistic homelant today" "Work is an essential human value"
It is nice to see these early Marklin kits finding a home on your modules. You've done a terrific job with them. Jim
Terrific! You have the best collection of styrene kits I have seen. It is nice to see the Kibri coaling station built and weathered. I've wondered what it looked like in real life. It looks great. We can't have too many Kibri gantry cranes, either. Top notch work. Jim
You can look at this tread from Polish Forum - both cranes and coaling stations of different construction. Some are very similar to Kibri items. http://forum.modelarstwo.info/threa...dżwigi-chwytakowe-w-parowozowniach-pkp.18438/
Thank You, Pawel. That is quite a resource of information. Many ideas. I enjoy the waterfront cranes. I see where you get your inspiration . Jim
