trackplanner.app is designed to be an easy way to plan layouts with sectional track (no flex track yet). You can use it on your phone or computer. If you have wanted to design a layout but other track planning software was too hard to use, this app is for you.

I would like your feedback about how I can make it easier to use, or what other capabilities you would want in a simple track planning app. There is a feedback button in the app or you can leave comments on this thread. Thanks!

 

for some reason i couldn't get it to lay any track down ...... or do you have to set the layout boundaries first ??

 

You should be able to drag or clixk on tracks to add them. What browser are you using? Sounds like a bug.

 

browser is firefox, current version ..

 

i also have adblocker enabled, i don't want to disable it at this point ..

 

Ah thanks. I found a bug that caused clicking on the track categories not to work in Firefox. It should be fixed now. Thanks for taking the time to look!

 

well it's mostly fixed, not terribly intuitive, but not bad ...
don't be shy, keep working at it ...

 

What did you find the most difficult and what would have made it easier for you?

 

the part where you select where you want a curved section to start and end , straight pieces seemed to be okay ??
