Can you tell me what you used for the curbs. I'm trying to find N Scale Evergreen Styrene but I don't know what size to look for as I suck at those mm measurements, and not sure if it will bend for me to curve it? Is .040 correct? Your parking lot is really, really good and I want to steal some ideas Also where did you get the light's? I use just plug and will probably have to use the Wooden Pole ones as it easier with no real wiring needed by me. But yours look just like what would be in a fast food place or gas station, of which I have both!
.040 Sounds about right; you should be able to bend it by using a hair dryer and wrapping the styrene around an appropriate sized tube or bottle or something while you heat it, then hold it while it cools. Bunch of ways to do this, whatever works. The lights were scratched using stainless thin wall tubing from Ngineering and LEDs from the same source. I placed the wired LEDs in the tubing and then used Aileen's Tacky Glue to mold the top. This was a case of a happy accident because those particular LEDs were really too big for anything else but perfect for this application. I also used the same technique for the lighting on the fuel pad, only doubles instead of singles. I don't think in mm - I think in scale feet, and if something measures out close, good enough.
