I broke the front truck frame that includes the diesel engine skirts. I would like to replaced it. Any ideas? Thanks. DMK
Since Concor doesn't stock parts for the old stuff your best bet is to try Ebay and see if you can pick up another being sold as parts.
If they're the F-3s as seen below, they are indeed old, dating from 1973. They were manufactured by Fleischmann and sold by Con-Cor, and as said by John, parts are no longer available and patience with eBay might be your best option. I find two pairs for sale on eBay in the U.S., but at crazy high pricing of $89.95. They're worth perhaps $20/Pair at the most. About 2-1/2 years ago I sold my A-B-A set (one powered, two dummies; that's one of my A's below) for $31.50 plus shipping.
If we are talking about the outside frame for the truck itself I doubt it and the whole chassis I also doubt it. However there were several versions of this model made and it may be possible to just substitute the complete truck from a different model of FA unit. However the pics posted are not showing up so all is just guess work at this point without seeing what is broken. There is a possibility to use the front truck assembly from an old Model Power unit since these had a unpowered front truck.

By "skirt" he means the truck-mounted pilot. He has a posting on N-Scale.net too and a picture is included. Doug
Truck-mounted pilot? As in, something no EMD ever had, but was invented by Lionel? Scrap it. Better F-3A dummies are a dime a dozen.
It was done that way because the unwritten agreement in the early N scale days was to guarantee equipment would operate on 9 3/4" radius curves and couple to other equipment on said curves. Doug

Yes, it's a Fleischmann-made F3. It has "Con-Cor AUSTRIA" in the bottom. I can think of only a few early cab-type locos that didn't have a truck mounted pilot. The Atlas E8 and later F9 and Con-Cor PA's had them, too. The Bachmann F units had the pilot body mounted but the pilot was only about 1/3 there with the humongous opening in it. Pretty much the same with the Minitrix/Aurora. Doug
Somehow I finally realized we were not looking for an FA but an F a unit so with that info still Ebay is the best bet and maybe a Roco model that appears to have the same truck in addition to the Concor offerings.
I found the chassis that this truck came off of. On the bottom it says Austria Con Cor. It's yours if you want it.
