I think you misunderstood..... I'm asking if the trucks+couplers from the link (Bachmann #42534, and they are NOT Rapido) will fit with tha Kato couplers..........I know Rapido don't fit with knuckle couplers
The OP included a link to Bachmann trucks with knuckle couplers, not Rapidos. I think Kato's knuckle couplers "play OK" with Bachmann knuckle couplers. The goal has been for various manufacturers to make their own versions that work OK with the original Micro Trains knuckles. But, how each of the non-Micro Trains couplers play with each other is not so clear. Hopefully somebody who has been running the same Kato loco with some Bachmann cars can chime in here with a real answer.
Kato couplers work fine with Bachmann's. One trick I have found with Kato's is to sand off the little protruding nub on the side. Then they work perfectly with Micro-Trains, as well (and they work fine MOST of the time, even without the sanding).
