Looks like one of early Ford C... like 1963 to 1965. Submit photos to Athearn... maybe they will use their existing Ford C models to create a copy of your truck.

Definitely 1963 to 1967 era. It has the Ford logo, which began in 1963. Can't be any later than '67, as it lacks side marker lights.

It is actually a 1980 with a 360 and 5 speed with splitter rear end, so 10 speed. Is a rough and tumble 2500 rpm grunt machine! It was a winch truck in the oil field until the frame got bent. The guy I got it from shortened the frame and made a toter out of it. Sad part is it is only good for up to a 14 x 70 with 2x4 walls. Above that and the nose goes straight up. Yup, did that. It is kinda fun looking at the clouds above you when that happens!

These were made fro 1959 until 1990! One of the longest manufactured trucks ever!

Well, last weekend saw the Trainshed get blocked and leveled. Tuesday the meter got installed. So, there is light! And extra heat for when the woodstove goes out overnite. SOOOOOO............ tonite I spent time cleaning the track while on the phone with gcav17, and then ran a test/cleaning train. It all looked good! After a shower, came back out and set up the 2511 with a freight train and the gondola of weights and two dust monkeys soaked in alchohol, and here you all go! Trains are a running!!

Spent time today just cleaning up and inspecting. AFTER I spent a few hours cutting and splitting a cord and a half of firewood. So now the floor around the desk, workbench and stove is clean. And the dark storage area is cleaned up some, lots of extra empty boxes that I didn't need and just garbage to dispose of. Now I can see out the back window to look at trains! PIC_0144.JPG PIC_0145.JPG
I did do some investigating to find damage. This track needs reglued to the roadbed for the passenger siding, PIC_0146.JPG
This solder joint was one cause of a hesitation, PIC_0147.JPG
And this feedr may be the cause of the full stop on the downhill run. Not too bad for sitting idle and cold for so long! PIC_0148.JPG

That cracked solder joint doesn't look bad at all. You'll probable need something to hold down the left rail temporarily while you solder so the top of the rails are level when cooled. A block/can of something heavy would work.

Yup. Found a few more little issues tonite while running trains. A loose point rail to resolder, a joint on the climb up Rattlesnake canyon to redo also. I suppose more will arise as I run things around. Also having to re break in locomotives that have sat for too long. Did some cleaning of wheels and pickup points too.

How did the duplex do? Curious if my layout killed or not.

While driving a steam locomotive last night, the 'annoying' sound of diesels in high idle kept 'distracting' this foamer!!
