That, my friend, is a DCC command station that is compatible with several different systems, including Loconet and Railcom, plus others. And it’s cheaper than most of the others.

I plan to use my UR92 and Digitrax throttles with it. Just don’t use this to update firmware on Digitrax devices... it won’t work for that.

So the delivery guy was good to me today. I got some wiring stuff for the computer, and my latest planet car.

Great buy for parking lots, auto dealership and autorack loads.
I only wish that they were 1950 to 1969 version sets.

My Latest purchase is a handful of track and cork roadbed -- just got to the LHS in time -- they were closing shortly after I got there -- hopefully I can keep laying track this afternoon

I went to LHS on Friday (Curbside Pickup Only). Been in lockdown since late November. Order online from the catalogue, wait for a confirming email, pickup time and make the drive to Windsor. I miss perusing the shelves and so does the LHS owner.

After learning that the NMRA convention in Santa Clara next year had been cancelled I needed a little cheering up so I sprung for this Micro-Trains set that arrived today. I am quite impressed with the quality and realizing that access to the Sierra Army Depot from the east would have traveled through my modeled area I think I will be adding another set or at least some more of the vehicle kits.

I saw a bunch of tanks (New Perhaps - No Idea What Kind - No Markings) on flatcars at Belen - at about 21 minutes into this Virtual Railfan Grabbag version -

Those were all M-1 Abrams tanks on DODX 68ft flat cars with 3 axle trucks just like the Micro-Trains models. Seems that lately there has been quite a bit of these types of movements noticed by railfans and railcams which is what got me to thinking about adding some military loaded cars to my collection.

I've seen them come out of Belen and seen them through Flagstaff heading to California.

All kinds of military stuff going through Belen in the last 6 months.

I work on Ft Lewis WA, which is the primary west coast logistics base, and I see things like those around here all the time. When an Abrams is on a standard flat car, there is only 1 per even if there is room for 2, but on the 6 axle flats there are usually 2 at a time.
