It is still around. It is at the Siouxland Historical Railroad Association in Sioux City, IA. It was built by Pullman in 1915.

Glad to read this information. Are they doing anything, insofar as preservation or restoration?

As far as I can tell, not much has been done to it. It more or less is in the same condition.

The CGW unit is super cool but nothing tops that beautiful ATSF PA

PAs are unique.... I treasure my HO model, together with the GG1. Very good design.

That Crabgrass Great Weedy SD40 is a nice catch!
    I respectfully disagree--only a (4 stripe) D&RGW PA is more beautiful! :D

I think we call agree all the above are quite striking--beauty is in the eye of the beholder... (y)

I will say the BN 1752 photo had a style similar to that of D. Larry Zeutschel, a Montana-based, prolific early BN photographer.

    I vote for the PA.

A pity that CN didn't purchase any after the demos visited. Those would have been awesome in CN's 1950s passenger scheme.

The bottom view is obviously an E1A&B pair. But is the top (UP) an E3? With some modifications? Those number boards on the nose sure don't have a natural feel to them.
