Hi Guy and Gals; hope that y'all are well!

Some input if ya please. My current track plan has a couple of peninsulas with 180 degree loop backs. I have been doing brain fracture wondering what ima gonna do with those. Geesh, dawned on me to see what the prototype does. Most of you probably have already done something like this, so bear with me.
I remembered reading about a grain facility in the Portland, OR area that had tracks circling around the whole thing. If ya wish to see, get into maps.google.com and copy and paste the coordinates in the search bar. 45.64089734990241, -122.77023817705127 remember to switch to Satellite view. Anyway, if ya pan around a bit there are multiple places with industries that are inside circle tracks. A little bit West of the Vancouver Amtrak Station is one that is pretty busy. 45.63182564389269, -122.69057704225965 Also note that there is also a scrap dealer there that is railroad served but not in circle tracks.

I haven't completely drawn in the industries yet as I want to see how it all 'fits' during construction before casting in stone. Xtrack users can get the plan http://www.todhackett.com/Xtrack if they wish.

Main radius is 41 and 39, with that inside track @ 36. The 26in diameter inner circle is for construction and will be used for some sort of scenery that can pop out if needed at a later date and the small circle is a structure post. The vertical line ( not in the blob ) is 28in from both the sides. This level is 36in off the floor. In those tough to reach places there probably only will be structures and or scenery. That inside part is gonna be an inch or so higher than the main and I may need to change the radii to 35 or so for better separation. Thought about having double track on the inside loop for car storage. That could be a can-O-worms as I would think that curved crossovers would be needed somewhere in the loop to get to shorter strings of cars patiently waiting. Am I thinking about this at least half way right?

The turnouts near 'East Luuper' look like they are 'Y's; who makes them?
And i assume the layout is HO?

Hi Stefan. Yes HO scale and wye's. Those are #8 - I will make them; have 3 Fastrack jigs I got years ago which should get me started, then will make from profiles/footprints.
