I hope the Arnold N SW1s make a return someday. I have the B&M in the blue and white (early), and CNW (late) hoods and they are really nice. I hope Atlas will be able to start re-releasing their S-2s again soon, one day I would really like to see one in MEC.

I purchased it quite a long time ago by mail order from N Scale Supply. I too liked the livery as I am a long time fan of Santa Fe.
    Thanks

    Here's my favorite.
    a Tractive Power Corp TP70.
Has a Digitrax DZ126 decoder. This tiny thing can pull about 8 or 9 50' boxcars.

    Here are mine....

Arnold-Rapido Alco S-2 (early 1990's). Still runs great on DC.

Atlas S-2. Retro-fitted with the decoder out of my FVM ES44AC that is on the 'deadline'.

Kitbashed 2 axle Yard Goat. Static model but I think it looks kewl !

I saw a YouTube video, a few years back, of their prototype unit. Seemed like a good idea and what switching was shown, it looked to be a healthy enough machine. I wonder how many they have sold?

I think, to date they have only sold 3.

Though they have built a fourth, a four axle TP120.

The model number equals the tractive effort, if I remember correctly.

    Here is their website.

That's interesting. They were produced as a commercial run by Life-Like, and there was a more Canadian version commissioned by Hobbycraft Canada, but I've heard that the paint had a tendency to go flakey on the Hobbycraft versions.

These ones are the Life-Like ones but the previous owner cut off the extra stack and added the exhaust mufflers. Probably nothing else about the details is accurate . I could probably add the proper horns easily enough.

A shot of my favorite Santa F zebras includes Minitrix FM #503. Came as Santa Fe but blue & yellow. I cut out top of weight in cab, installed the top half of an engineer figure, changed position of headlight, puton inboard grab rail along hood, moved and changed smokestacks, and painted and zdebra striped.
The RS-2 (3?) #2099 is used as my most dependable switcher.

LifeLike SW-9 painted as US Navy switcher on my blimp base layout.

Arnold S-2 as Johnston and East Texas on common carrier wholly owned by East Texas logging Sorry. Only a corner showing. I was more interested in skelton log cars and log loading crane and scne in general.

Does not everyone hate that those LL SW and Kato NW-2 cabs WILL NOT GO BACK ONTO THE LOCOMOTIVE PROPERLY?

MP USRA light cabs are similar.
