Remember the MASH episode where Hawkeye discovered that the can of beans he was heating up was left over from WWII? Seriously, good information here. I just discovered that I have not been soaking my prints long enough, Although I have not had trouble with paint adhesion, I will give them more time in the Bestine in the future.
Just an old fart remembering things from my past. Isn't the ladies room rather small and close to what appears to be the pool tables?
Muchas gracias Senorita! The wait was well worth it. Excellent work and detail. You should be proud to show off! I'll take some tequila shooters, please, I'm used to 10 cents per shot. Oh yeah that was 60 years ago. Great work, be well, Carl PS: avatar isn't too bad either
Well, it may be narrow (not much space between the men's room and the opening leading into the lanes) but I am sure it goes back a long way. But then again, back then they may have had only one stall and a sink so there would be enough room for that.
And I've seen a lot worse. You should have seen the old Ground Round in Rochester, MN. There were tables literally right outside the two restroom doors. Doug
As I said "old fart remembering past". When I lived in Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties I did part time work in business repairs. One of the big issues with the ladies was the lack of room for there needs and the locations near were there were a lot of men. Also bowling alleys didn't have pool tables because they attract the wrong types. The old man type.
Very nice job on the bar. I'll have a whiskey and seven. Or maybe just a whiskey and whiskey. Oh, wait a minute- I'm way too old to be going out getting hammered. Never mind. Also nice avatar photo. Alluring with a nice touch of elegance. BTW, Someone purchased a set of my bowling pins on Shapeways. Was that you?
I'm working on another small project so I will be getting back to my alley soon. Got to start on the alley floor
It was very hard getting a good picture of my staircase. At least you can get the idea of how I solved the staircase problem
Super job! This looks great! I'd say you just need a ball polisher, lots of ball racks, a few claw-style arcade games, and maybe a pro shop. The latter could be a false wall-type thing, printed on paper and fixed to the wall.
