I've dealt with that Seller before. Won a Centralia Shops ATSF caboose. Less than 5 minutes after I won the auction, he called me trying to get me to buy a couple more that he had "in the back room", sight unseen. Nope. No thanks. Won't buy from him again either. Too shady. -Mike

All , LOT OF 35 N SCALE ENGINE SHELLS, NO BOXES – USED - SEE BOTH PICS | eBay .. I say not worth the specified $. What would you give this person ? Tom
Seller is probably figuring about 5 bucks each. Looks like more than a few are missing parts. Some are obviously from years ago. But I would suppose someone out there will want them.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/N-scale-At...477179?hash=item4b81c150bb:g:B~gAAOSw9UhfZAa9 I really hope that $599.99 is a typo!
At least he said he didn't do his research in the description. They actually look to be in pretty good condition too: no broken stirrups or handrails, although obviously that isn't a 600 dollar set of tenders.
Someone's printer appears to be out of line, as well. Did the MON ever have an SD-7? .............when in doubt, charge five dollars? Despite that, the lot is too large which results in a figure that is more than what most are willing to pay. I had a bunch of old shells that I sold on FeePay, but I grouped them into lots of three to five and started the bidding at ten to fifteen dollars. Most bashers are looking for inexpensive donor pieces. They might pay up to twenty five dollars for several items, but, they are not going to pay much more than that. Some of those shells have a sloppy lettering/decalling job. The C-C PA shell with the TrainPhone antenna might be worth something, but, as the lettering is incorrect, you would have to repaint and buy the correct sheet from Microscale. The FM five axle with the antenna in DGLE is not badly done, although Penn never had any of the five axles. The CR five axle is interesting. None of NYC's five axles made it even to PC, never mind CR. The seller should bust it down into lots of three to six pieces. Those B-mann F-9 shells are not worth that much as it is.
Pretty sure the seller meant $9.99... but then again... it is eBay Sent from my SM-J737T using Tapatalk
Maybe I should make an offer of $50? Those pizza cutters are dead giveaways for cheaper pieces. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
not quite ebay, however I found this in a google search for model trains. HO lionel Hisler switcher. Buyer pays shipping. Will take PayPal. $20 · Sellersville, PA HO lionel hisler. Think this person needs some help in Grammar and the Hobby the couplers clearly say H0-SCALE . I can make out MANTUA in the second photo. Tom
This is kind of an interesting item. I think Athearn made these for Lionel during its foray into HO in the late 1950s. https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/athearn-lionel-0055-stl-red-white-1832590462
