Starting to build a 6x18 module layout with unitrack, best glue or to fasten it down, so it's easy to remove if
    I have to.
Will the Atlas jointers work on Unitrack for the joints were the modules come together?

    Thanks
    Don

Unitrack rail joiners work well too. That is all that holds T-Trak modules together. As for the glue I usually use silicone if I am gluing down on foam and regular old hot glue if on wood or plastic. Also if you balast the unitrak it the white glue from the balasting process will hold it in place quite well. I have had luck with all 3 methods. Also if using the silicone or hot glue method I only put that under the joiner section, that way I dont have a small mountain of it under the track and waste material.

And if you flip the track over you will see some starter holes put there by Kato that don't go all the way through. Simply drill those out and you can use track nails.I use Elmers all purpose glue to tack my track down and the occasional rail spike to hold it until when it dries. A simple spritz from a water bottle and wait 15 minutes and the glue releases. Advantage water soluble and water clean up

Use the kato expandable track between your modules as you make it smaller and remove that section and viola separation.

Tried Elmer's glued not work, tried hot glue gun did not work. So I'm going for the nails, didn't really want to nail them down.

I recall a post on TrainBoard some time back where Aleene's Original Tacky Glue was used with success. They said it remained slightly flexible when dried, which helped it grip the track. I've not tried it, but wanted to mention it.

Before using the mails use silicone caulk. You can find out how to do it on YouTube. You will be happier at the appearance and if you go to resell it later you command a better price than with holes as people usually don’t mount it that way.

Thanks Norseman. That'll be what I try first when I get my layout underway.
