Don't even let "the Wife" see that suggestion! You may be up for becoming an equine modeler!

Very nice looking pasture and corral! No horse apples though?? And no kids throwing them at each other?

That horse pasture looks awesome and the fence repair scene is a super nice touch.

Maybe you could make some barricades and set up a equestrian race course in the field :D

    Thank you....(y)

An equestrian race course would be tough to do. Those horses are so small...they dont stand on their own...they are glued down. ;)

    It's WD-40 Day !!!! :D:D

Have everything caught up for now. Today is 'Track Cleaning Day' ! Trains where parked behind Jeans Valley while I worked on J&J Horse Ranch. Will get those moved out of the way. Going to be cleaning track with the WD40 in 3 stages. From Jeans Valley bridge south to the south entrance to Lucky Penny Yard. Then from Jeans Valley bridge north to the north entrance to Lucky Penny Yard. Finally will be treating all the track in Lucky Penny Yard with the WD40. :D(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)

From previous results with cleaning track with WD40....I shouldnt have to clean track or wheels for a long time after using WD40 !!(y)(y)

I plan on running trains for the whole weekend...while listening to some great 80's rock !!(y)(y)

    Have fun....

Are you using regular WD40 or WD40 Contact Cleaner?

I just bought some WD40 Contact Cleaner to try along with a couple other brands to clean mostly wheels,

I use regular WD-40 because it's what I have lots of everywhere in the house...shed...trainroom etc...

WD-40 contact cleaner has a dielectric constant of 1.9. Regular WD-40 has a dielectric constant of 2.4. Both are on the high good end of the dielectric table Joe Fugate posted.

The WD-40 does an excellent job of cleaning the rails and keeping 'gunk' to an absolute minimum. (y)(y)

Was going to be. THE Wife and I decided we would call it 'J&J Horse Ranch' in memory oh her mom 'Julie' and her grandmother "Jenny' who together managed a horse ranch in Cave Creek AZ for many a year.:love:(y)(y)

Do you by chance have a link to the post/article? I'd like to read up on the usage of WD-40 a bit more before venturing down that road on my layout (mostly for staging area which may be challenging to access once the layout expands above it).
