Beautiful. One of the things that makes this work for me is the way you get the effect of depth from the backdrop and the way the foreground transitions to background. Hills/mountains behind green trees is a good way to do this, but it's harder to do arid California well with hills/mountains behind dry grassy hills. Really nicely done. Rick

I have made roads out of thin foam core signs that where going in the trash at work. They had a plastic cover on both sides and after peeling one of them off you have a nice slightly ruff surface to paint and install. Have used cardboard also but my results were not as good as yours Eugen. Fantastic job. Joe
Yes your right. I copyed Bob's HO layout and build it in N-scale. I looked to the articles in Model Railroader.
