Prolly not but I’m sure you could build one from the available rolling stock. I got my DCC decoder installed in it today and it’s running on the rails as I type this. It is a beautiful train!
I've bought almost every Walthers kit and some built-ups over the past few decades. I had the same rolling stock issues you mentioned. I really like billboard reefers, tank cars and colorful box cars. Too many choices and it doesn't look like I will win a big lottery prize to buy the warehouse I need LOL. The rolling stock that doesn't fit any of the industries on your layout can still be used. They are run throughs and were just "passing by" in your mixed freight consist. Of course this idea goes out the window if you are running unit trains.
LOL! Of course! Why didn't I see that?! That's what happens when you get into the trees so far you can no longer see the forest. Thanks MK... that's a great observation!
Just took delivery of a Minitrix 0-6-0T and after almost 50 years still runs great. 100_0249-2 by John Moore posted May 29, 2020 at 3:58 PM
Many years ago I would have bought these, but I had put the brakes on due to over accumulation. I tend to go for prototypical stuff now... which has reduced my 'accumulectionitis'. Sent from my SM-J737T using Tapatalk
Ok, I ordered one from an online hobby shop, got me a lighted sun ☀️ in a few days Mercury will be available.
Have not heard yet but I hope so. I joked in another thread that it could be a caboose but of course, that would make it harder to have a lighted version. What I hope does not happen is that it gets released through the NSE (N Scale Enthusiast) and cost more to complete the set. I had to pass when NSE did the US territory cars to go with the state cars for several reasons and have always regretted it.
Nahhhh... Pluto should get its own car. There will be a loco and caboose too. NSC will do all the moons around the planets. Sent from my SM-J737T using Tapatalk
3D printed Pasture fence. Thanks to RBrodzinsky for printing these for me. I think they look great and will fence in J&J Horse Ranch in no time ! You can find Ricks printer setup settings on these on the 3D Printing & More forum.. The pasture fence thread.. https://www.trainboard.com/highball/index.php?threads/need-someone-to-do-some-3d-printing.131855/
More goodies at the Post Office today. 4 different types of 'turf' and my 'fuel cranes' I forgot to place into last order. I have been wanting to finish up the rest of the layout with grass for 4 years now ! One of those things I keep forgetting to order once I am done playing with trains and come inside...LOL. The CFO finally sat me down and made me order it. With 4 different types I can mix and match and it will look pretty danged good when done.
So the USPS lady was kind enough to drop a few items off in my box today. A Kato Bus/Tram stop, American Decals for my station, and 2 buildings for the little tram layout the pic was taken on. a new Kato FL12 for my ICE4 train. Note to anyone who has one of those trains and wants to install this decoder... make sure the little hatch is in place before running the train... if not the decoder can wiggle out and let the magic smoke out. A haunted house for a 12” T-Trak module my daughter wants to build. Halloween themed. Bridge abutments for my new layout.
Who makes the buildings you posed within the Kato track? The grey and brick ones? Sent from my SM-J737T using Tapatalk
