    Hi everybody
Getting back into the art after 40 years but going from HO to N.
Decided to start with a portable Christmas layout to bring to the living room during Christmas. Started working on it in the basement. My wife told me the plan looked greay but to remember that it had to come up from the basement.
Yes - that's the same word I used.
Now I'm going with a 32 or 36" hollow core. I'm looking for the groups section - I hear they have an HCD group.
Stay safe and keep em rolling.

    Welcome to TrainBoard!

Several years ago, we had to change to our present software. The old had developed security holes. :( The Groups were a plug-in. There is not, as yet, such available for this software. Our Groups are stored away, and if some day an quality plug-in emerges, then they may be revived....

When I was just a wee lad, my Dad - unbeknownst to me - built a Lionel layout in the basement on a 4' x 8' table.
On Christmas Eve, after I had gone to bed, my parents somehow maneuvered that layout upstairs to the living room.
If "Santa" was able to get that layout down the chimney, so to speak, then you should have less trouble with an HCD-size layout.
