Got 2packs of these today. 2of the 4 will become now trucks the other 2 pov's. So will be getting them ready for paint in a day or two when I shoot the primer on my Diamond T. In My vehicle builds section.
Those are nice kits- have built two for friends. Like anything in yellow , prime it in white first, but guess you may know this!
Went to local hobby shop. Came back with RMC magazine and used Atlas Central of Georgia boxcar, Bangor & Aroostook reefer. Micro Trains Southern 40' boxcar. All cars were used, looks like very little use to no use.
I also picked up a copy of the new RMC with my new Atlas BNSF gp38-2 yesterday. The Tenino Western artical and the one on building an P&S log car in N scale are fantastic. Ralph
Just picked up this Atlas Masterline Beer car and Athearn SPFE reefer from the Hobby Depot in Tempe Az.
Bachmann 50' Sliding Door boxcar that comes complete with metal wheels and Micro-Trains compatible couplers.
Just delivered today from Japan my Buddhist temple complex for up on the cliffs on the Turtle Creek Central. 1/160 scale with a 3rd kit that is paper that houses the temple bell. An order of 15 monks will arrive on Friday. 100_0120-1 by John Moore posted Feb 18, 2020 at 1:16 PM
I picked up these little beauties today. Starting to get an idea of what to do with my last two module frames. Now to add a few more modern freight cars and then I will start the planning stages for a little switching area. Four industries should do it..
Probably should go under "more ebay humor" but i'll post it here. An atlas bridge kit off the bay that was opened and missing major pieces to the kit. No mention of missing parts or opened box.
Should have another 12 TW Rio Grande coal hoppers arriving by weeks end. Will have 66 cars, with different numbers.
Power Cab and BLI Ace. I'm loving the perforated tank for the speaker, flashing ditch lights during a horn blow, and the cab light turning on at full stop. Compared to my Kato, the yellow color is less "orange" and the addition of the cab shades are great, just missing the nose headlight and it would be perfect.
You would think it was the Atlas GP38-2 I mentioned in a thread yesterday......but I ordered all 3 MT weathered 60 foot Hi Cube Box Cars since then.....
Here is what I picked up yesterdays visit in Paris . First is an REE Tremie EX T1 Ep.IV-V "Simotra" logo ancien. This is a new release from REE. REE is a French model train company the body mount coupler brackets are empty giving the opportunity to put in a pair of Dapol knuckle couplers. Second is a Brawa Gedeckter Güterwagen Gos-UV 253 "Peugout Talbot Der DB. I believe this is an older car though my wife picked this one out for me. I went to Paris Modelisme on51 Rue de Douai. I was referred to go here by locorevue magazine. I believe this is there hobby shop that that own besides the different magazines that they publish monthly and bi monthly.
Just by chance I got an Atlas GP38 also. Not the latest version but a DCC ready one so I'm good. Here she is compared to my Atlas "Classic" GP35 in the same color scheme.
Actually, the high headlight is correct for that UP road number, UP did use high headlights on some EMD's.
Just received a second Micro Trains Colorado State car. Can run it, while the other remains on display!
