I am cleaning up my hard drive and found some old pictures from 2006. Back in those days they were hosted on the old Railimages, and the size was always shrunk to 640 x 480. I found some originals that were full size, and since the old Railimages ones are long gone... Back from the hay day of Z, pun intended. Andy's Tivio Ranch, the home of Big Red! Tucked in behind the tracks, Andy studs out his prize quarter horse, Big Red, who's grandfather was the famous quarter horse Poco Tivio. Mares often arrive by train from May through August, so Andy maintains this in town barn for the breeding season. Poco Tivio received the NCHA Certificate of Ability Bronze Award, had $11,000 in NCHA earnings and is a member of the Working Cow Horse Hall of Fame. He sired 308 registered foals in 25 crops. Of those, 81 were AQHA point earners, 10 were AQHA Champions, 26 were ROM earners, and six were Superior award winners who won 10 Superior performance awards in five events. Andy has kept the tradition going by producing a consistant line of champions through Big Red. Andy had a dozen hands keeping the paddocks clean, and in good repair, as people come from all over the country to visit Big Red. Big Red is an HOF inductee at the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum.
Rob, that Barn was a hit, along with the fencing. Then you showed me how you made the singles so simple. Made kit building easy and fun. The dog-eared fencing was great too, with not holes and splits. The wood frame and gusset loading platform (with the crates) was good too.
Boy 2006 seems like yesterday Your timesaver layout Robert was always fun to view. I particularly enjoyed your grain elevators and your scratch built hoppers!
I seen your harvester and all it's heads, It's very nice, and I'll probably need a couple down the road, once I get to detailing my modules. The first details will be logging stuff, which I also seen in your shop Walt.
