That's a bit over priced for used, I mean "vintage", scraps of flex track that may or may not have any enjoyment left in them. And having worked in transportation don 't get me started on the cost of shipping.
Okay, not fleabay, but craigslist: "N Scale lot New Track & Accessories - $11 Hello I have a large lot of mostly New N Scale Model train items all new..." ...then starts listing a bunch of Tomex track, switches, and a Tomex turntable (1995 version), as well as a bunch of Faller, Preiser, and Heki trees and misc and some WS scenery material. "The $11 price was because I had to put something I would like to sell it all as a big lot but will consider all offers emails first send me a number I can call or text you. I am not big at the back & fourth So If you say one thing then that is what you should do .I am not looking for retail But I will decide how big of discount I am willing to give a would be buyer" I explained that we are an NTrak club and could use some of the scenery and other items, but he shouldn't have put $11 for price unless that is what he wants for everything (in which case, we would take it). I said that I didn't want to insult him with a low ball offer so I asked how much he really wanted for everything...just a ballpark figure, so I could ask the other club members if they were interested (since the Tomex track is not worth anything to us). This is the response I got from him over the weekend: "So your not even willing to make a offer ? OK Then I was just trying to give someone local a great deal on mostly new items for N Scale enthusiast. Not very good way to make deals for your club ." -Sigh- I didn't even know that Tomex made track (it looks like Kato track). I don't think he will find a buyer, especially with that attitude...
In other words the Seller is saying "I have no idea whatsoever what this stuff is worth, but I won't admit it, so I'll instead respond with a snarky comment."
another one with track popped up. https://www.ebay.com/itm/TRAIN-N-SC...906785?hash=item421092f061:g:Y4gAAOSw0NZeIE7T and 8.99 Expedited Shipping and there's this one as well https://www.ebay.com/itm/8-N-Scale-...362640?hash=item1efaa87410:g:jiwAAOSwPphc3d8b $8.00 expedited shipping! Tom
Rut-roh, looks like another real estate bubble https://www.ebay.com/itm/LIFE-LIKE-...333667?hash=item341eefd5a3:g:VdgAAOSwoI5dMOUi
and it looks like the Seller just relisted it at the same inflated price. Maybe he also sells N Scale mortgages to finance what he sells.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/TRAIN-N-SC...714724?hash=item5b6c393e24:g:xBUAAOSwzkRdpjqU Needs work - dummy!! Right!! Needs a trash can -- with all of the other bazillion that Readers Digest had made!! Wolf
I can't quite decipher the item description. I believe it is a powered chassis underneath a passenger car frame/interior?
BoxcabE50, you've got it ! see second photo. if you couldn't see it here. definitely a powered chassis. Tom
While , not ebay but ...Locomotive in excellent condition, runs great, in original box. (box shows some wear) https://www.facebook.com/groups/1647907242105331/?fref=nf lol , have to love the person description ! Tom
But wait, search further and he/she has four that are priced from $4.97 to 11.21, plus shipping. Did he/she mean to price this one at $1.21?
It may be in an Aurora BOX, but it isn't even N scale: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Mo...157087?hash=item341fc2c35f:g:ejsAAOSwt8JeKjzg
Arrrgh. That eBay posting is an insult to Aurora's Postage Stamp Trains, one of N Scale's respected founding fathers.
