Have you thought about a light weight piece that can be removed to access the center. If you want scenery in the center. Have seen several articles about doing that.

Hmmm. Didn’t think about that. I will probably start with the 2x2 crawl in and build a slip in as another project down the road...great idea!

Beautiful! And I love the natural light coming in. It will be great for photos as nothing beats Mother Nature lighting! :)

Grass and trees coming soon!!! Have them in the box, just had a little window to do some work...what do y’all think? I tried to down stroke with greens on the rocks, and upstroke with grays and charcoal to create a shadow look... @vince p less like alps, more like Washington lol

Email sent. I’m going to fill in that drainage ditch and make that area a logging camp with a muddy road, the other side of the tracks on curve will be a chipping area where I can put that truck

Love that hill! It turned out very nicely. All it needs now is trees! (and a lot of them)

What’s everyone’s thoughts on using two different types/manufacturers or trees? The Bachman trees were a Christmas gift and I’d feel bad if I didn’t use them

Lots of different trees out there in the real world. If one liked them I'd put them front and center. If one didn't like them so much find a place where they don't show as much. Also probably most of the ones out there could be modified to some degree,

Noob, I like to use a variety of manufacturers and also make them myself. Natural trees have a large amount of different types and I believe it looks better to try to copy.

Just mix them and space them out throughout the layout and no one will know except you. I would use them.

That’s all the trees I have for now! Didn’t think the two brands of trees would mix well but it looks great!
