Just to make sure I understand: if a JMRI PanelPro turnout table is made up, and (provided all addresses are correct) a turnout control panel is configured, then a state change initiated on this turnout control panel will activate the corresponding turnout servo motor?
Yes, you can also operate the turnout in the Turnout Table just by clicking on the "State" block for that turnout. It will say "Unknown" first, but just click on that and it will start toggling from "Thrown" to "Close", if the operation is backwards then check the "Inverted" box for that turnout to correct the operation. That way you do not need to re-code or rewire anything. Dennis
Hi Dennis, thank you for that response; now to elaborate a bit further: the OP's Brendanf's initial post does that implicate that both the PanelPro and DecoderPro connections setup use the same USB connection? Ie. all commands from the PanelPro (turnouts,..) go to the same Mega base station (DCCpp_Uno.ino program) that sends loc commands to the tracks? Erik
Sorry for reopening this... This seems to be the only sketch close to what I want, however, it doesn't seem to work? I'm getting no serial output at all - ive tried on an uno and mega with and without the corresponding optocoupler and servo driver attached? I have an additional sketch for dcc packet test that is working fine. Any help would be appreciated.
