Can anyone tell me which Floquil or Tru Color paints are the correct ones for UP's green and red on their locos?

    Thanks,

I model the Milwaukee Road passenger scheme which is basically the same, and I've just used some old Floquil BN "Cascade Green" for the nose, it comes out flat when painted and is about as close to the real 1:1 in most pics. I'd tell you the number on the bottle, but it's worn off.....o_O

Thanks that helps. Looks like that might be Tru-color TCP-067 (Burlington Northern Cascade Green). From the pictures UP yellow and Milwaukee yellow look the same but Tru-color has two different numbers for them. I wonder how much difference there actually is.

The reason I'm asking this is that I'm thinking of buying an Erie Built A and B unit resin shell and painting them UP colors. Anyone have any favorite brands of paint to do this with? Any good YouTube videos on painting an unpainted shell?

    Thanks,

    Sumner

I'd suggest Tru-color cascade green, too dark for BN but looks about right for the anti glare panel
