She was only doing 30-40 north of Inola. Highway 88 was a string of northbound vehicles about three miles long.

At some point here I found myself thinking "Do I need to see another video of the Union Pacific Big Boy?" I mean you've seen one video and have you seen them all? Then it happens. Oh my Gosh, another video but this time in Oklahoma. Well, after all I'm trying to track the Big Boy, so why not? So we are back tracking. You know how it is. These videos come available, as they come available. I mean, I can't be there in person. Oh, I'd like that! So join me as we sit track side watching Big Boy and his train through the lens of a video camera. Nice? I thought so.
Rick, thanks for finding and posting these videos. I am enjoying all the Big Boy videos so far on you tube but this is one of those events that makes me wish the old school Pentrex team was still around to put out a video. They always managed to turn out a great product to watch and enjoy. I picked up a blueray of the 4014 in the upper midwest from C Vision (my favorite rail video production company) and love it so that's a win. Have watched it several times now.

Glad you are enjoying it. I couldn't agree more about the Pentrex team. Wish they were out there chasing this train to bring us back there style of videography. TO reports that the UP steam schedule has changed; no public layover in Denver on Monday/Tuesday; they're headed straight home to Cheyoming that morning instead of on Wednesday.

Yes, sir. Ed D. was at the helm in every video I could see. Right along with the same guys that serviced the locomotive. My personality would be counting the miles before we get home. I'd be warn out for sure. Do I dare say my patience with all the bystanders...well...they did a better job of courting them then I would of. Sigh! Oh and John, I didn't hear any fat lady sing. Whistle maybe! Grin.
