Like anything, when you just want to set fire to it, just walk away and come back to it a few days, weeks, months later. By then I'm sure you were glad you didn't light the match!
Well...had some quiet time tonight and made more progress tonight than the past couple weeks. Depends... You will get some contraction on some things with the freezing temps. Can never tell what will crack or worse. You may get lucky and everything will be fine. My layout is in an RV. Freezing temps all winter. Knock on wood (knock...knock) I havent had any layout damage in the 7 years THERR RV has been sitting in my backyard
Hey! I’ll take anything I can get loaner or not! I have all my wires ran and just bought the rest of the track, plaster, and scenery I need to get her running. No engines yet. Grabbed a walthers catalog today when I was at the hobby shop and looking to do and abandons mine scene and some logging stuff so any switcher would do nice for what little ops and photo ops I can get! Just perused your thread, and am impressed! Definitely need to keep plugging away! All of us "work" on our layouts in spits and spurts, and sometimes even get a LOT done in a short period of time! Then there are the rest of us! It is looking really good!
