Any idea what happened near there? My dad and I were chasing since Mohawk and this was the last stop we made for pics before heading home. It didn't make it barely a mile from where we saw it before it was stopped and apparently it was there for awhile according to their tracker.

I wish that I knew that you were there.

It looked like a general inspection after quickly climbing the hill

Yeah I figured you were probably out there somewhere! We were originally just going to go to Gila Bend but since 4014 got a late start out of Yuma we decided to book it to the Mohawk stop where it was supposed to be stopped for 30 minutes. We got there just as she was rounding the bend and pulling in. This is the first time we ever "chased" a train - and I half-way figured being out in the middle of the desert in nowhere there wouldn't be such a circus of people. So wrong! lol The entourage of cars following it on the freeway was just ridiculous. At Shawmut I think we were just a little further west based on the curve in your pic (we were at the double RR crossing right after the split)
