Consists of EMD FL9, Railway Express Agency and 2 Coaches. FL9 kitbashed from AZL E8 with B-Flexicoil truck at the fron (only power pickup) and C-Flexicoil truck at the rear (powered with traction tires), chassis and shell shorten, lots of added details and custom decals/paintjob. Railway Express Agency is a AZL Heavyweight Baggage Car converted with B-trucks, coaches just repaints.

Well done!! This is the railroad of my youth. The add-on details are great. The Dover Street Yards in Boston were the final resting place for many of the NHRR heavy weights before they were scrapped. Maybe one day something like this will be available to all of us...Jim

Well, Jim, may be I can convince the folks that we do some pictures of this nice train on OPS.
Anything special we should consider, Jim?
    Best,

How about a pit stop at the sanding facility? Or a trip along the "Shoreliner" route, particularly the saltmarshes in Westerly, RI? Am I being too specific? Nice to know there are NHRR fans in Switzerland. Thanks, Jim

    Not at all, Jim,
Do you think this landscape here could more or less qualify as your saltmarsches in Westerly, RI ?

Close, Sven. It looks like you are on Cape Cod. The Westerly, RI saltmarshes are all grass no sand dunes. These type of dunes are typical of the outer Cape Cod area. The NHRR did go to the tip of Cape Cod, Provincetown, back in the day. Of course, your work is fantastic no matter the geography. James

    Great help, James,
Thus we have to make the train go to Provincetown, correct?

Hmmm...how about a car train arriving in Miami with a load of snowbirds and their automobiles? I believe the P-42 traveled this route. It definitely picked up automobiles in Virginia for the trip South. I think that would be the "Orange Blossom Special" Jim

Do you mean the Autotrain, Jim?
    What are snowbirds?

Yes, Sven. I do mean the autotrain. Snowbirds are of the non-avian type. It is a term used for folks who live in the North who go to Florida in the winter. Hence the name "snowbirds." Like most seasonal birds, they fly south for the winter. Jim

Thanks for that. I had not seen it. I counted 27 cars. That's a lot of pulling power. Jim
