Just a guess here, but I would suspect that a heavy application would cause the paper to absorb some of the adhesive, and having no place to expand to, it would wrinkle. Good thing to remember.

That was my thinking too. I used too much of it on my floor as well and that's why it came un-done

I could not print my carpet because I need ink ! Ordered more. I should get it tomorrow. Well my glass front windows started to crack. This never happened in other buildings I finished but they were much smaller buildings. This building flexes just a little bit but enough to crack my windows. I took out all the glass last night and installed flexible plastic glazing. All is good again.
Question : Should I put in a few pool tables? I have 3 in my detail box.

Yes, pool tables are in a lot of bowling alleys in the lounge, some even had multiple tables (18) in a separate area. This was especially true of Brunswick Supplied alleys, as Brunswick also made pool tables.

Another item to add would be dart boards.

I would vote yes. I cannot recall many alleys which did not have some.

Well I have 3 tables by Scale Structures LTD. So 3 tables will work. I also have a Spiral Staircase I never built. But there is no place to put that thing

It would be small but it's easy to do.

I had some time this morning to get a few things done. My ink came so I'm ready to carpet my floor. I'm moving the dance floor because I need
    room for the pool tables.

Candy, that's beautiful carpeting. What printer are you using?

It's great to be back and see how the bowling ally is coming along and to see Candy is back with us. My last time here was May 3 and then Windows 10 decided my 12 year old computer needed retirement and I had difficulty reconnecting with the newer computer. :)
I do agree with the glue issue. I've had similar situations.

I will tell the truth. I am working on my lounge because I am afraid of what is ahead. I am afraid of the alleys. One step at a time. I will have pictures soon.

If you don't like it, it can always be taken out and done again.
I'm about to do the same in a few minute with my first trolley wire. It's not straight and dewires the pole at the wire frog, but a good learning experience. The positive is that the trolley actually moved being powered from the wire....YAY! OK, only a few inches, but Hey. (y) BTW, it only took me six months to build up the courage to string this first wire.

    Candy,
The whole project looks outstanding so far. I suspect that the alleys will be fine. Maybe you could use the same technique you used on your dance floor, and using a drill jig (whether you opt to make that yourself or have it 3D printed) will ensure that you get the pins located correctly. Just relax and have fun. The biggest problem I can see is finding an easy way to make the gutters.

Well thanks guys. I have been working on the lounge and it's coming along well. I will take pictures soon.
Back to work in the morning after a 4 day break. It's been so hot that I've been living in sundresses ! Short sundresses !
