    Scratchbuild the rest. Top or bottom. Whichever is easiest. Well within your skill set.
    Oops. Just went back and saw the staircase. Maybe a platform/landing would be easier.

    That's terrible. I wish there was a better way to select good contractors. :(

    The only bright side to stuff like that is when you get done you will know a lot more about what works and what doesn't.

    I have really enjoyed trying to get myself out of a mess related to MRRing. I have seen many folks think themselves out of even trying a layout, or building anything because of all the fear of failure. You Candy, have figured your way out of these type things.
    A quote for you;

    Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat. Theodore Roosevelt

    I know a bit heavy but relevant in context, LOL

    Easier to clean when someone spills a beer or a hot dog with mustard.

    The lounge floor at my bowling alley is black and it had various colors on top, looks like an Ed Pollock painting!

    Does 3M spray adhesive go bad over time?

    In a past experience, I had used some on a roof. After some time had passed, the whole thing became somewhat (for lack of a better word) wrinkled. I contacted the manufacturer, who was quite certain I had applied too much adhesive as the cause. I later built an identical structure, and made sure I used a light application, just a very bare minimum. To this day, the roof is still fine. Model looks good. Perhaps he was correct?

    I use their Photomount spray with excellent results I use it for attaching paper roofs and siding and for putting foliage on tree armatures. Have had any come look in the last four years. Gene
